RDS-615
The RDS 615 drill machine is developed to meet the special requirements of steel fabricators. With a maximum material width of 640 mm it can process steel beams, angles, channels and box sections. With 15 tools available in the automatic tool changer it is capable of carbide drilling, scribing, thread-cutting, centre-marking, counter-sinking and milling slotted holes.
This new generation of drill machine is designed to be more stable. It is robust and has low-vibrations on the drill axes. The W-axis drill is mounted on a specially-designed sliding
column together with the horizontal clamp to make it extra compact and stable. Added to this are the high-performance servo motors and ball screw spindles which make it a fast and high-precision machine.
These RDS machines can be combined with a band saw and/or autosorter to further automate the production line and produce without an operator.
